How do I even prepare for my first class??? That is a GREAT QUESTION!
FOR KNOW FOR ALL POLE CLASSES:
To prepare for your first and recurring classes, you will need this brief guide to help you:
- DO NOT PUT ON ANY BODY CREAMS AT LEAST 6 HOURS PRIOR TO CLASS… you will thank us 🙂 This is an estimate as it depends on the cream that you use. There are some body creams that actually do not affect your grip but keep this in mind. We do sell Pole Physics which is a brand of creams that are friendly for poling. Inquire here!
- Grip Aids are often used by pole dancers. The studio will provide free grip aids in the Intro Pole classes only HOWEVER we do expect that you purchase pole grip aids to bring to class other than Intro Pole. We sell grip aids! This can be purchased at our studio, cash or etransfer accepted. We sell various grips! See our store to inquire about pricing and how to purchase!
- Avoid wearing jewelry! Rings will damage our poles and affect your grip a lot, try to put them away while you pole. Necklaces and earrings can be a hazard as well as they may get caught in the pole or while you fly.
- Lastly, it depends on the class you have booked for! Have a look below…
Intro Pole, Conditioning and All Pole Aerial Classes will require the following:
- Shorts (and, we mean SHORT SHORTS! No biker shorts)
- Tank Top and/or Sports Bra
- Pole Grip (This can be purchased from Inferno! Visit our store)
- Yoga Mat (not required but nice to use during warm up)
- and again…DO NOT PUT ON ANY BODY CREAMS 12 HOURS PRIOR TO CLASS
Pole Heels/Exotic Choreography and Technical Classes will require the following:
- SOCKS or PLATFORM SHOES (The studio has a small selection of shoes if you do not have your own. Check out shoefreaks.ca if you want to own your own pair!)
- Knee Pads (THESE ARE IMPORTANT!!! We sell these at our store!
- Wear something HOT/SEXY or comfortable, which ever you feel (you do you girl <3)
- Leggings OR shorts (doesn’t matter unless the instructor says otherwise… so check in with them)
- Bra (any kind of bra is perfect, just make sure those girls stay put!)
- Please no thongs or pasties… those we will save for upcoming workshops 😉
