Pole Dance Instructor – Inferno Pole Studio

Inferno is seeking new candidates to fill the role of Pole Dancing Instructor. Applicants should have flexible availability, primarily on weekends and weekday evenings, to teach recreational pole dance and fitness classes.
Location:
Inferno Pole Dance Studio at 360 King Street West, Oshawa ON
Desired Qualities:
We are looking for instructors that provide high quality instruction. This includes proper technique, proper form, focused on building proper strength to execute a move, challenging their students individually, and offering the safest methods to execute such moves. The instructor will be able to provide variations to moves for lower and higher leveled students within a class. The instructor will plan for their class prior to but is flexible to adjust the plan during class based on the abilities of the students. We want our instructors to always be enthusiastic, caring, and make the best efforts to build a connection to each student.
Qualifications:
Preference is given to those with a pole dance certification.
Preference is given to applicants with experience teaching and/or assisting pole dancing, group fitness, dance, gymnastics, or other similar activities in a recreational group setting.
Preference is given to applicants who have a current First Aid (Emergency or Standard) and CPR certificate.
Preference is given to applicants who are already familiar with Inferno Pole Studio’s pole dancing curriculum.
Being qualified to teach other group fitness classes such as flexibility, conditioning, gymnastics, or other styles of dance is considered an asset.
