Many believe that pole dancing is just for dancers at bars and clubs, but THIS IS NOT TRUE. Pole offers a style of fitness for everyone from sporty to sensual. In the past decade, pole advocates have grown the pole world to all new heights (pun intended) creating a variety of beautiful artistry from pole static dynamics, spinning pole, pole fitness, choreography and of course your sensual styles. These styles have been influenced from a variety of dance styles, gymnastics tricks, as well as circus arts.

Courtney – Studio Owner
“Hey all! I am a certified pole instructor with 24 years of experience in dance including 11 years in dance competitions. My preferred styles of pole include static dynamic pole, spinning pole, and exotic hard. Since the end of my dancing career in 2014, I had been lost not knowing where to take my dancing skills. I then stumbled upon pole dancing in Toronto and then Peterborough, finding my new love of dance, POLE! I am obsessed with it and I never knew that I could relearn acrobatic moves at a later age, AND get to wear 8-inch HEELS!!! I can’t wait to share my expertise and help you on your pole journey wherever it takes you! If you want to see what I have been up to, check out my instagram page @courtney.infernopole !”

Bri – Instructor
Bri INSTANTLY fell in love with pole in 2024. Growing up with a love/hate relationship with dance and rhythmic gymnastics, Bri has found a fully healthy passion and security with pole that she has never experienced before. Bri felt a sense of belonging with the community at Inferno and has always felt so welcome and encouraged since the very beginning.
“I have been coaching recreational gymnastics since I was 16 and I am so so honoured and excited to branch out and teach at such an empowering studio alongside an inspiring group of instructors.”

Christine – Instructor
Christine was looking to get back into her childhood loves: gymnastics and dance. She stumbled upon pole dancing and after trying it, she was hooked! She loves that it combines the power of gymnastics with the sensuality of dance. After 2 years on her own pole journey, Christine found herself wanting to share her passion and starting teaching in 2016. Since then, Christine has taught a variety of classes and levels, including pole tricks, pole choreo, chair dance, floorwork, conditioning, flexibility, and handstands. She focuses on proper technique, but also on finding what works for each individual. She loves helping others connect with their body and achieve their goals!

Hailee – Instructor
Hailee started her pole dancing journey in 2018. Despite her pole struggles at the beginning dealing with sweaty grip, she fell in love with it instantly. Now, after lots of bruises and achievements she is so excited to start sharing her passion for pole with others. Hailee loves helping others reconnect with their bodies and helping everyone see what their bodies are capable of through pole.

Katelyn – Instructor
“Pole dance was something I wanted to try for a long time. I finally decided to give it a go back in late 2023 and I was instantly head over (platform) heels.
As former personal and small group trainer, I not only have a passion for helping people feel strong, but also confident and empowered in their own skin. For me, pole dance is so much more than just a workout. It’s where strength meets creativity and fitness becomes FUN. I’m all about creating a judgment-free zone where you can be yourself, try something new, and surprise yourself with what your body can do.
Whether you’re coming to class to sweat and build strength, boost your confidence, or just unwind and escape the day-to-day with some good belly laughs, I got you! I can’t wait to see you in the studio”

Lauren – Instructor
“I started pole dance a few years ago and instantly fell in love! Although I grew up playing many sports, I was never able to find a fitness activity that I enjoyed as an adult. Ever since trying pole dance back in 2020 I have been completely hooked, often spending more evenings at the studio than at home! I love the combination of strength and movement that make pole both challenging and fun. I have training in many types of dance, with my favourites being contemporary and lyrical. I used to teach both jazz and tap and cannot wait to start teaching again. I love integrating other dance styles into my repertoire, including both floor and chair dance. I hope to see you all in class with me soon where we can explore sensual movement and even learn some tricks!”

Nickei – Instructor
“I have dabbled in dance and acrobatics during my childhood, but once I found pole in 2022 at Inferno I’ve been hooked. I find myself spending more and more of my time pole dancing. I love to freestyle and flow with the music, finding the grace that can come from relaxing and trusting your body. I’m so excited to share my love of pole with you. I hope you leave my classes feeling proud of your strength and impressed by your own skills.”

Sarah – Instructor
Sarah has an extensive background in the dance world, having trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical and musical theatre. She competed throughout her teen years and completed all of her examinations in ballet and jazz under the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Sarah found pole dancing in 2016 after a friend convinced her to try a pole class for fun. She immediately fell in love with the sensual movement side of pole and loved incorporating her dance background into her practice. Sarah found Inferno in October 2021 and rekindled her love for pole with Courtney starting right back in Intro classes! She quickly fell “head over platforms” for exotic heels! With an eye for fluidity and technique, she brings high quality teaching to our Heels Stream!
